In 1994, Yun-Hui and Mitsuo Wada opened the first Genji Japanese Steakhouse located on Livingston Avenue on the Eastside of Columbus. They greeted customers at the door each and every day. Soon those customers became friends and those friends told their friends about the amazing food and friendly service. The Genji experience brings family and friends together with a shared dining experience. Many new friendships have been made around our tables over the years.
Although there are now two Genji Steakhouse locations (Brice Road and Sawmill Rd) as well as six Genji Go quick-service locations throughout Columbus, the foundation of our success remains true…treat people with a smile, offer food prepared with quality ingredients, seasoned to perfection and served in an entertaining way unlike any other. We are well known for our signature yum-yum sauce, ginger sauce and ginger salad dressing made fresh in-house and sold by the bottle to enjoy at home.
Genji Steakhouse is perfect for family dinners, or an evening out. We offer a special occasion package including fresh Hawaiian pineapple, souvenir chopsticks and framed photo. Genji Steakhouse gift cards are perfect for any occasion and available in any denomination.
